I picked this one up at Tinderbox for $6.45 at Tinderbox. It was the Torpedo and I think it was darker that the other Oliva Serie's that I smoked. Creamy but full at first. Light pepper or spice. 3/4 way through still creamy with a small spice hit. No construction issues. Good nicotine. Smoked down to the finger burning nub and the taste remained consistent throughout. Good mellow buzz. Would buy again. A very creamy, good amount of smoke, no relights required, burned even to the nub.
From Cigars International:
Oliva Serie ’G’ is a good-looking Nicaraguan premium made with an authentic African Cameroon wrapper. This leaf imparts a pleasant, nutty flavor, adding to the rich bouquet presented by the Nicaraguan Habano long-fillers inside. Overall, a rich, medium-bodied cigar with hints of coffee, nuts and wood on the aftertaste. Serie ’G’ received a stellar ’91’ rating.
